MAN ON THE RUN TOUR UPDATE : 2021
To my dear listeners and ticket holders.
We’ve waited and kept our hopes up, but we must face the reality that the Man On The Run Tour 2020 is not going to happen, as planned.
As been said but to make it as clear as possible, my team and I have worked tirelessly on this project - from creating original music, design, custom made visuals and screens, not to mention postponing dates from the original spring-tour, and endless back and forth on new restriction updates.
We are working with the individual respectful promoters and partners on the best solutions how to move forward and make this happen in 2021 but the shows will not be with the Man On The Run storyline or visual setup made for it. Despite this, I am itching to come and play all my new material for you.
This will be an opportunity to come play for you and keep doing what I live to do - on a blank canvas, in A New Dawn.
Some shows are already confirmed as seated concerts in suitable beautiful venues, some are yet to be finalised.
All ticket holders will be contacted via their respective tour partners - please be patient while we all work through the details. As a small token of appreciation for your patience you will receive a link to the Chamber Sessions 002

Lots of oldies from previous sets in this one, but numerous requests and everything else about this morning has made it one for the books.
Most of the animal sounds you can hear in the set was recorded up in the jungle where we stayed for a week.'

Dear listeners, I am proud to announce ‘Man On The Run’. It is a 4-chapter audio/visual story playing at selected concert venues, where I will be performing the soundtrack on an open stage, backed by visuals crafted for the show.
From a growing desire to explore further into live-playing, and to give more space for melodic depth, groove and dynamics in my set, I started working closely with my team on the idea. I’m quite excited by this project, and the outlook to explore new creative possibilities, dreams and challenges.
Hereby I invite you to join me on this journey.

'I love my great great grandfathers work, especially ‘The Philosopher’s Stone’ which he won a big literature prize for in 1923. I resonate with its message, and it felt only natural to take inspiration from his work. I intent to one day make a whole record with songs written from the book. I am the last descendant in his blood-line and it feels special to fuse our works.'

MUSIC FOR LOVERS INTERVIEW WITH BE
For art to really touch me – music and film especially – it has to contain opposites. If a thing is too cheerful and happy, or too one-sided dark or melancholic, I loose interest faster. I’m guided by my emotional response and it has become clear, that to me personally, the balance is paramount. Humor and self irony is as important to me, as recognizing and embracing the pain. Not saying that one should just laugh off the tragedies, that would be arrogant, but when the time is right, try to make friends with acceptance and invite it up for a dance. Easier said than done, and I’m by no means an expert in the exercise of this in my personal life – but I believe that the key to an old famous garden could possibly lie within that concept. – if this can translate just a little bit through the music, it has the potential of evoking a sublime emotional response within the receiver. We come together over music and recognize ourselves and each other in it.

OCTOBER LETTERS RELEASE
On February 8, 2019, Danish musician Be Svendsen gears up for the release of his third single off his acclaimed debut album Between A Smile And A Tear. 'October Letters' features stunning, melancholic vocals by Kamilla Kovachs, who sings woefully of the downfalls that ensue after great euphoria. It's the story about an individual's return to the human experiences of separation, after a state of oneness. Inspired by a chapter out of Be Svendsen's great great grandfather's famous novel from 1923, The Philosopher's Stone ( J.Anker Larsen ), 'October Letters' is a haunting track that will sweep you into its dream-like world.
